Summer has definitely arrived in south Florida. And it’s right around the corner for the rest of the country as well.

It’s been hot & humid and in the mid to high 80’s. The perfect time to make these 3 ingredient popsicles. I’ve recently partnered with Pressed Juicery and got inspired by one of their juices they sent me, and added it to the recipe.

I used their Strawberry Basil lemonade to infuse a taste of tart sweet strawberry with just a hint of basil. Delicious, earthy and refreshing. Especially when I come back from my afternoon walks!

Pressed Juicery is healthy cold pressed juice sourced from central California. They offer cold pressed juice (including green juice cleanses) soft serve, smoothie bundles, & power-packed shots. Visit the link to learn more about them.

Homemade Popsicles: How to make:

Let’s move on to the recipe. Homemade popsicles are a breeze to make. All you need are just a few simple ingredients:

I love that this 3 ingredient version has no added refined sugar. It’s quick to make, (aside from freezing time) healthy, and those bits of ripe sweet Florida mango right off the tree really add a natural sweet flavor.

I feel so lucky to live in south Florida where we’re drenched in sunshine and some of the freshest fruit Ā is picked right off the tree. Like coconuts, bananas, oranges, mango, lemon, limes, papaya, & avocados, just to name a few.

Many of our neighbors grow fruit right in their front yard and it falls off the tree right to the ground. They are happy to share with the neighborhood because it’s so plentiful. I have witnessed neighbors going around with loaded bags of fruit offering it to their street besties. So when I’m out on my walks I forage (in my neighbor’s yards) for seasonal fruit.

And right now mango season is at it’s peak. You can’t beat a ripe sweet Florida mango right off the tree. And what we humans don’t get to eat, the birds, ducks, critters and bugs devour the rest.

I hope you try this healthy 3 ingredient recipe and enjoy it as much as I do. Popsicles are the perfect kick off to this upcoming Memorial Day weekend.

3 Ingredient Popsicles Recipe: Instructional Video Tutorial Included

Recipe Instructions:

Wash, remove hulls, and roughly slice 12 large strawberries.
Peel & slice one large mango reserving 2 Tablespoons of mango pieces for later.
In a blender add the strawberries, mango and 3/4 cup strawberry basil lemonade and blend until smooth.Ā Transfer mixture to a liquid measuring cup and add the reserved mango pieces & mix in.
Pour mixture carefully into popsicle molds & freeze until set. If using popsicle sticks simply place a piece of tinfoil over top of your mold and place the sticks down inside.
When ready to eat, run mold under hot water for a few seconds to loosen the popsicles to pull out & enjoy!

For this recipe shoot, I tried to keep it interesting for you all by making some rosettes out of cut mango slices and roses out of strawberries. They hardly took any time at all and there were some great tutorials on how to do both on YouTube. I used purple basil I’m growing in my herb container for the petals.
